Pork Pie Charity Run - 26th March - 1st April 2021
Pork Pie Family…
Whilst Covid-19 has hit all our lives pretty hard, for the children living in poverty, that our chosen charity KidsCan support, it has made life almost impossible.
They are forced to stay home, and they are forced to stay hungry. If you are in a position to be able to help, KidsCan are asking for just $19 to help support this initiative so families don’t go hungry.
Together with kindness and compassion we can ease the burden on our most vulnerable.

COVID-19 is having a huge impact in New Zealand and as a team we have decided to postpone registration for the Porkpie 2021 event until 26th July 2020.
Closer to that date we will review whether or not the 2021 event will be possible and if so what format it might take. The most important thing is that we all stick together as a country to work through these challenging times. There will be opportunity for other runs in the future if the 2021 event has to be cancelled.
Look after yourself, family and friends and work to stay positive. Here is a link to a PDF from The New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience (NZIWR) with some good tips on how to stay positive during challenging times – NZIWR Realtime Resilience Coping with Coronavirus
