The dates have been set! Pork Pie Charity Run 2027 will leave Paihia on Wednesday 31st March to arrive in Invercargill on Monday 5th April.
We will assemble in Paihia on the evening of 30th March and say our goodbyes in Invercargill on the morning of 6th April.
Registrations opened on Saturday 11th April 2026 at 10.00am, and have successfully been subscribed in full yet again. Thanks so much to those enthusiastic people who want to be a part of our event, both new applicants and past offenders. To those who have not quite managed to squeak in – don’t give up hope! We have a wait list and traditionally we have teams pull out and need to be replaced if possible.
The charity that we are partnered with for this event in 2027 is the Life Flight Trust. With bases in both Wellington and Hamilton, Life Flight Trust is an aeromedical service with fixed wing air ambulances that cover the entire country. Their primary missions are to fly patients to receive life-saving surgery, connect rural patients to larger hospitals and to transport patients to specialist care facilities across New Zealand. A worthy cause to be supporting and we are excited to be a part of it.
